The
work developed in the last three years has been highly satisfactory
for the General Management. Goals of business growth, improvement
of service and evolution of the human resources of the Firm have
been achieved.
We have worked mainly in two areas: a client oriented
business seeking high levels of confidence, and a change of the
organizational culture of Estudio Jurídico de Propiedad Intelectual
Julio C. Guerrero B. S.A.
In the first field we have emphasized on a scheme
including the following principles focused on the quality of service:
Strategic focus.- Oriented to
clearly define aspects or areas to which the efforts of the organization
have to be aligned.
Business control - Systematic
follow up on the results of performance vs. the annual operations
plan.
Goals administration.- Emphasizing
on the achievement and results gotten by individuals and those obtained
by the company as a whole.
Culture of implementation.- Measuring
and monitoring of key indicators of performance to facilitate taking
corrective actions towards their harmonization with the goals established.
In the second field, related to the evolution of
organizational culture, various training events and motivation programs
-with the participation of important Ecuadorian community leaders-
have been held. We have also implemented politics of incentives
and prizes to motivate the continuous achievement, creativeness
and improvement of human resource.
We have pushed forward to get the best results
from the operation of the Firm. We also requested recommendations
and suggestions from the Board of Directors, which would allow us
to work with clear ideas, guidelines and goals; thus enabling the
General Management to appropriately lead legal, technical and administrative
operations of the Company, always preserving the name of the founder
Don Julio César Guerrero Borja.
The majority of shareholders has again entrusted
on me the General Management of the Firm for the period 2006 - 2008.
I will keep giving my best of my knowledge, effort and compromise,
and will always have in mind the ethical and moral values transmitted
from one generation to another .
